ManpowerGroup CMM Operator in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Our client, Metal fabrication company is seeking a CMM operator to join their team. As a CMM operator, you will be part of the Quality control team supporting the adherence to quality startands of production. The ideal candidate will have CMM operator experience, works independently and communicates using reporting tools which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CMM Operator

Location: Clinton Twp., MI

Pay Range: 25.00 to 35.00 based on experience

What’s the Job?

  • Inspects manufactured parts to ensure that hole locations, contour measurements, and shapes conform, within prescribed tolerances, to part print specifications, using coordinate measuring machine and working to Automotive common tolerances.

  • Create and edit dimensional inspection programs for the CMM

  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.

  • Investigate instances of miss measurement; to identify research, analyze, and report measurement problems.

  • Must be able to interact and assist with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel in regards to part conformance and process capability.

What’s Needed?

  • Experience with CMM: Global I 9158 , Software: pcdmis version 22.2

  • Polyworks with Rommer Arm

  • Tarus single Arm pcdmis 2018.2

  • Documented training or experience with CMM operation (PC-DMIS preferred).

  • Proficient in MSA and SPC
