Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Sterling, CO

Project Duration: 3 months

Pay: $25 - $35/hr

Per Diem: $120/day

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for a 3-month project in Sterling, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist with construction and maintenance tasks on the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to perform construction tasks.

• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry.

• Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery.

• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage (to be discussed during the interview process).

• $120/day per diem to cover daily expenses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $48.00
