CACI is seeking an Computer Network Specialist (Senior) for one of our key DHS programs. The HEITS program provides program management, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), systems engineering, training, information assurance, Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6 transition (and beyond), and cloud computing (including classified) capabilities and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors critical network elements and applications using various network monitoring systems in a 7X24X365 Network Operations Center (NOC).

  • Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains telecommunications networks in a NOC environment.

  • Tests new and already installed hardware and software.

  • Uses computerized network management systems to check for system alarms when parts of the network are not working properly and jeopardizing the level of communication services available to customers.

  • Follows procedures to validate, troubleshoot and escalate issues.

  • May work second and third shift work and overtime in the event of network outages.

Qualifications:

It is required that the Network Specialist (Senior) has the following qualifications:

• Familiarity with various network types including LANs, WANs, WLANs, SANs, and VoIP networks.

• Understanding of the OSI model and configuration of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and LDP.

• Experience with SAFe® Agile and DevSecOps.

• Possess a current Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Education and Experience Level: High School Diploma with 12-18 years of experience; Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years; or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience.

Desired

• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE, ITIL® v3 Practitioner or ITIL® v4 equivalent Foundations, and/or CISSP.

• IT Certifications such as Security +, CISSP, etc.

• SAFe® certified.

• ITIL® v4 equivalent.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​

Minimum Req uired Hourly Wage:

$25.84
