WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
The American Red Cross Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is seeking a Financial Analyst. Duties include preparing and reviewing financial reports, providing financial analysis and contributing towards annual budgeting and forecasting process. The position must be able to perform assigned tasks independently and feel comfortable working in a team environment.
Location: This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
Generate monthly and ad-hoc reports to evaluate business performance results, including variance analysis and key drivers of performance for decision support and general business support as assigned. Reporting will be more frequent during busy disaster cycle seasons.
Participate in the annual budget process, including data analysis, entry, and validation.
Participate in identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, procedures, and systems within area of responsibility.
Interact and liaison with cross-functional groups to identify and resolve issues in assigned areas of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
The salary range for this position is $76,120.00 - $89,960.00
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications ):
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
A minimum of 4 years experience in financial management and analysis.
Data Science certification is preferred but not required
Strong skills with various Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word) are essential. Experience using Power BI is also preferred.
Experience using large scale automated financial systems (such as Oracle), planning tools (such as Hyperion), data warehouse and query tools (such as Business Objects/Webi) desired but not required.
