The Category Manager, Indirect Sourcing for Radiometer is responsible for support on indirect sourcing. This position is part of the Global Sourcing located in Poland and will be an onsite position supporting both Radiometer Poland and Radiometer Medical. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of the Global Indirect Sourcing and report to the Senior Manager responsible for coordinating and participating in meetings with suppliers and other Radiometer sites, conduct tenders, create new contracts, communicate with suppliers on relevant topics e.g.: sustainability assessment, DPO etc. If you thrive in a diversified multifunctional supporting role and want to work to build a world-class sourcing organization—read on.

What you will do:

• Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement activities. Give recommendations in order to support stakeholders make the best decisions around supplier corporation.

• Develop and implement Danaher procurement strategies for indirect spend categories. Drive improvement initiatives related to cost, quality and sustainability.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with significant suppliers, negotiate best possible commercial terms and conditions. Continuously evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

• Identify and select potential suppliers, conduct tenders or benchmark to secure the best value for the company. Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring contracts are properly executed, filed and renewed or terminated as required.

• Together with Business Analyst identify opportunities and support the development of strategies to optimize procurement processes. Drive initiatives who promote cost reduction, cost avoidance, while maintaining quality and Danaher sustainability standards.

• Support procurement activities to comply with applicable laws, regulations, sustainable procurement practices and company policies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Send out RFI’s/RFQ’s in connection to Tenders and conduct supplier meetings

• Set up and administrate supplier contracts

• Set up meetings with other Radiometer sites and follow up on their savings projects

• Be responsible for own commodities eg.: Fleet and MRO

• Communicate to a huge variety of stakeholders

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Sourcing, preferably in an Indirect Sourcing role

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business administration, or related field

• Be able to structure different working tasks

• Fluent in English

• Experience in working with IT systems

• Strong in communicating at all levels

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Supply Chain

• Procurement of IT

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Axapta or similar ERP system
