The Advanced Informatics for Mental Health lab of Yair Bannett, MD, MS, in the Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a highly motivated full time Research & Data Coordinator (RDC) looking to make an impact in the field of mental and behavioral health. We are seeking highly organized candidates with excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and with a history of professionalism, initiative and flexibility. The candidate will be responsible for leading research activities of studies that involve secondary data management and analysis (e.g. data processing, cleaning, and quality control).
Note: This position is a 1-year fixed term appointment that may be renewed based on performance and funding. This position is eligible for a remote work agreement and limited travel may be required for convenings and events. About us: Our lab seeks to leverage AI technology to develop reliable quality measures for assessing management of children with developmental and mental health conditions (including ADHD, autism, anxiety) in primary care by integrating analysis of structured and unstructured longitudinal data from electronic medical records. We are passionate about taking a team science approach to make an impact on the quality of pediatric health care, with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes for children with developmental and mental health conditions.

Duties include:
1) Participate in and lead core research activities within the lab, including:
a. Study planning (literature review, preparing statistical analysis plans, annotation guidelines)
b. Manage IRB protocol submissions and revisions
c. Management of data extracted from EMR and/or REDCap (basic data manipulation, data analysis using statistical software, figure/ table preparation)
d. Draft and revise research products (abstracts, posters, presentation slides, manuscripts)
e. Prepare educational products (e.g., educational slides for clinicians and families on principles of parent training in behavior management)
f. Draft and revise funding products (grant applications, progress reports).
2) Participate in team meetings (Monday 2:30-3:30 pm PST; Friday 1-2 pm PST) and prepare/revise meeting minutes, as needed.
3) Work with PI to develop and communicate project schedules, targets, products, and accountabilities, as assigned.
4) Update the lab’s website with research products, accomplishments, news, links to social media.
