Actalent Emergency Department Technician in Stanford, California

Hiring ED Technicians at Stanford. Must have an active EMT license and BLS certification.

Requirements:

  • Need to have an active EMT license as well as a BLS (AHA)

  • Prior ambulance, fire department, or EMT experience

  • Patient Care experience in emergency situations

Description:

  • The Emergency Department Technician is responsible for supporting the department with triaging patients, watching patients who are experiencing difficult psych symptoms, supporting patients with positioning, supporting the charge nurses with any patient needs or procedures.

  • Supporting staff during patient codes.

  • Transporting patients to and from radiology and scans.

  • Checking vitals and rooming patients.
