Synchrony Bank AVP, Software Engineer III Marketing Apps in Stamford, Connecticut
**[AVP, Software Engineer III Marketing Apps, Synchrony Bank, Stamford, CT. [Develop and maintain the technology platform for Marketing applications. Manage new builds, modifications to existing applications and oversight of monitoring the run environment for these applications. Ensure system SLAs are met across all daily activities and maintenance windows. Communicate with various leaders across business and technology to share status, dashboards, and review solutions. Manage multiple IT technologies and priorities for multiple teams using Agile methodologies. Provide oversight and review all design and architecture decisions for new solutions and modifications to existing marketing solutions. Ensure internal process and documentation standards are maintained during development and maintaining solutions. Create and manage proactive monitoring across all solutions, avoiding and/or reducing the adverse impact on any applications. Collaboration across multiple IT teams as required to deliver high-availability and high-performance solutions. Act as a point of escalation support as required. Identify new opportunities to drive system automations, improvements and simplifications for the engineering solutions handled.
[40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
**[MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS[:
[Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

- Developing microservices using Spring framework;
- Managing high availability technology solutions across Java and other platforms using monitoring tools and dashboards;
- SQL or other query tools;
- Development in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry);
- Agile projects; and
- Marketing environment and applications with customer journey, preference/consent tracking, and digital asset management.
