Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate (Contract to Hire)

Location: Fairfield County, CT

Our well-established hospitality client, based in Fairfield County, CT is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to fill an immediate opening for a Contract to Hire Accounts Payable position. This is a fantastic opportunity with potential for full-time employment, offering opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the full cycle of accounts payable processes

  • Process and verify invoices and reconciliation of vendor statements

  • Maintain records, including invoice tracking and documentation in line with auditing standards

  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers

  • Maintain documentation thoroughly and accurately

  • Assist in month-end closing process and other duties as required

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • At least 5 years of full cycle, high volume accounts payable experience OR a recent accounting graduate eager to gain experience

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software

  • Discretion with confidential information
