Director of Implementations

What does a successful Director of Implementations do at Fiserv?

This Director of Implementations role is a key role in the Fiserv Output Solutions business unit within Fiserv, which delivers business-critical communications to financial institutions, health and property/casualty insurance providers, billers and retailers nationwide.

As the leader of the delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects and initiatives within the company for statement, digital and card production. You will be responsible for all aspects of new client implementations, maintenance changes, testing and training.

What you will do:

  • Lead team of Implementation professionals to drive increased client satisfaction through service delivery while delivering revenue for the division

  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery

  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation phase and implementations to post production support

  • Support testing of productions in production prior to implementation in accordance to standard operating procedures, industry standards, and business requirements

  • Track performance against internal standards, SLAs, and external/industry benchmarks, using budget, forecasting, capacity planning, and workforce optimization best practices

  • Act as the Process owner for the Implementation Standard Operating procedures and partner with other Process Owners, where appropriate, in the establishment and oversight of new procedures to address areas requiring improvement

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders

  • Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary changes

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in management

  • 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience

  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management with progressive levels of responsibility

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with Print and Digital Output Solutions/Applications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Hands-on experience with Agile development and/or Six Sigma processes
