Job Description Summary

GE Vernova would like to recruit a Growth Leader/Business Development Manager to support our Grid Solutions business. The Growth Leader will develop & implement the Growth Strategy for Services.

The successful candidate will analyse the market / install base, define key commercial campaigns & build offerings to best align with customer needs. You will work with our current customer base and look to develop relationships with newly identified customers. This role will work across Europe and involve some European travel to see customers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define the growth strategy for each product line leveraging historical commercial performance, country & install base coverage.

• Identify new solutions, campaigns & offerings to win.

• Design combined offering with the rest of the GE Vernova portfolio.

• Design, setup & lead commercial campaign at the regional level.

• Implement Dashboard & KPIs to measure progress & success of campaigns.

• Ensure full alignment with key customers in the region working with the key account managers.

• Coordinate between Commercial Team and Technical Team to provide competitive strategies, solutions, bids, and proposals to Customers.

• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

• Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth

• Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in business development

• Experience within Execution/Proposal/Tendering

• Excellent customer service mind set.

• Track record of negotiating and closing deals.

• Demonstrable High level of integrity and role model with respect to company values.

• Knowledge about High Voltage Products.

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience working in an industry with GIS Transformers, HVDC equipment or Renewables

• Ability to effectively work in a multi-functional team and operate within a matrix organisation with transparency and trust.

• Interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Driving culture, positive mindset on change management.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.

• An extensive background in one or more of our technologies across the broad range of our product offerings.

• Exceptional attention to details ensuring team challenge and document decision and actions.
