BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

Mental Health Technician Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Health System, Behavioral Health Adult-SABH

• Location: St Anthony's

• Status: Pool, Exempt: No

• Shift Hours: 6:45 - 7:15

• Weekend Work: Every Other

• On Call: No

The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Provide ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to Ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Promote communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

• Assist with physical care under the direction of a RN.

Required Certification/Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• Driver's License - If applicable

• CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

• Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education:

• High School or Equivalent

• Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

Required Experience:

• Emergency Medical Technician - Preferred

• Healthcare - Preferred
