Nightwing Field Service Representative - HF-TTL in St Petersburg, Florida

Nightwing is seeking a Part time employee to work as a Technical Collections and Communications (TCC) Field Service Representative (FSR) in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM efforts. Responsibilities include assisting with various tasks like equipment installation, system configuration and maintenance. You should also be able to troubleshoot systems, identify problems and write reports. Requires travel overseas. Location: Iraq

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Mentor and advice senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) for utilizing HF-TTL equipment.

· Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for employing HF-TTL devices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.

· Provide technical expertise and support in testing and installing audio and video server applications.

· Coordination with Nightwing headquarters for specialized program support.

· Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new equipment and integration efforts.

· Conduct research and develop best practices.

Required Skills:

· Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance / SCI

· Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.

· Recent combat experience.

· Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism objectives.

· Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.

· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.

· Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.

· Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with no assistance.

· CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit.

· Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, customers, and employees.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions.

Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
