Job Summary The Youth Program Coordinator manages State and Federally funded youth employment and training programs for economically disadvantaged and at-risk youth. This includes handling contracts, processing amendments, and creating reports and materials. Duties: Oversee State and Federally funded youth employment and training programs. Review work plans, budgets, and financial reports for compliance. Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency. Analyze data and performance metrics to ensure program compliance. Develop new initiatives to support youth, employers, and communities. Organize and facilitate Statewide training and informational sessions. This position is telework eligible and is occasionally required to be on-site at the office. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment and may telework from anywhere in Minnesota or a neighboring state. Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on business needs. This position requires local travel a few times per year. This posting may be used to fill multiple positions. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position. Three (3) years* of project management experience involving evaluating, administering, accounting for, training and/or moni oring of grant/grants proposals, grant agreements, or grant recipients for a grant making organization. *Bachelor's degree in Economics, Education, Political Science, Public Administration, or other closely related field as determined by the agency may substitute one (1) year of experience; master's degree substitutes for eighteen (18) months of experience; PhD substitutes for twenty-four (24) months of experience. Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following: Experience in youth employment and training program management. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding youth employment and training programs. Skill in data analysis and interpretation, including experience with statistical software and data visualization tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with programs and regulations related to Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA), State and Federally funded youth programs, YouthBuild, etc. Experience with data reporting systems, Workforce One, and/or grant management systems. Knowledge of disability-focused workforce development programming and disability-related benefits systems. Knowledge of pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs.
