Structural Engineer - Industrial Design Job Locations US-MN-St Paul | US-MO-St. Louis Requisition ID 1445 Category Engineering Overview Haskell is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Industrial Design group in St. Louis, MO or St. Paul, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective, designs, drawings, and specifications in structural engineering for assigned projects. You will maintain professional registration and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision. Some of the regional clients supported by these offices include Anhesuer-Busch InBev, Nestle Purina, 3M, and Ecolab. Job Responsibilities: Develops complete structural system design of various building/construction types of varying complexity Coordinates work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors and omissions in drawings and specifications Performs site visits & prepares observation/follow-up phase reports documenting progress and deficiencies Reviews all structural-related testing and inspection reports Prepares budgets for structural work on prospects/proposals, monitors progress, and completes projects within the stated fee Directs technical efforts of Structural Interns, Designers and Technicians assigned to their projects Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Master's Degree focused in Structural Engineering (preferred) Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Structural System, ETABS, RISA, and SAP2000 Haskell offers a very robust and comprehensive benefits package!
