The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our finance team supporting all SH franchises. This role plays a crucial part in operational support to implement and optimize analytics and reporting tools across the organization.

What You’ll Work On

Data Tools Implementation:

• Partner with Field Finance Officers (FFOs) to implement and maintain data tools and reporting

• Collaborate with Global Marketing PBI team to rationalize reporting and enhance Power BI reports with appealing customer interfaces and visuals.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using various tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Looker) based on business needs

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

• Maintain and track sales performance against targets using sales pacing reports.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

• Use statistical methods, predictive models, and machine learning techniques for advanced analysis

• Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

• Offer data-driven recommendations to various departments.

Continuous Improvement

• Process Enhancement: Stay updated with the latest BI and sales operations trends and technologies.

• Continuously improve data processes and methodologies.

• Implement feedback loops to refine and enhance processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of professional experience in sales/commercial-focused financial planning and analysis, sales operations, sales strategy, or other related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience in Medical Device/Technology strongly preferred.

  • Ability to quickly and effectively analyze data, extract trends from analysis, and translate trends into actionable insights.

  • Must have strong quantitative abilities/experience in data management, data gathering, and analysis.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attentiveness to detail, ability to work under limited supervision and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

  • Requires the ability to be self-motivated to accomplish tasks in a proactive manner.

  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills, ability to resolve moderately complex problems, deal with unresolved issues, delays and unexpected events, while effectively communicating and maintaining rapport at various levels within an organization.

  • Strong analytical ability, originality and ingenuity required.

  • Extensive experience with various information systems; must have the knowledge and ability to extract data from multiple information systems on an ad-hoc basis (direct experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and SAP Business Objects strongly preferred).

  • Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.

  • Flexibility to travel approximately 15%.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
