Job Summary: Supervise 5-10 Supported Decision-Making Supporters throughout the state. Carry out the duties of a client supporter for Supported Decision-Making clients as needed. Review powers of Guardianship, if appropriate, to assist client's understanding and identifying opportunities to restore rights. Supervise team members who are assisting clients in establishing a support team to make major life decisions, including finances, dwelling and health, as well as expectation of smaller personal case load. Monitor the advancement of goals for teams and clients as well as appropriateness and safety during visits with client on visits occurring at least monthly. Provide ongoing accurate reports to Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or other relevant field or 2 years' experience in closely related field with supervisory experience, similar clients, and similar decision making capacity. Valid driver's license and DHS/BCA background check. Extreme detail attention to communications, accurate and timely documentation, and billings. Clear and unbiased thinking and ability to support client's desires, as long as they are legal, and do not cause harm. Assessment skills. Able to recognize dangerous situations (for team members, clients, and for self).
