A R&D Technician is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Arden Hills, MN area. This role involves performing meticulous mechanical and electrical R&D testing on medical products, requiring attention to detail, protocol adherence, and proficiency with test equipment and data documentation.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Set up and execute semi-automated tests with meticulous attention to detail.

• Follow protocols strictly and capture data accurately.

• Ensure compliance with quality systems and maintain adherence to all quality requirements.

• Perform some repetitive testing tasks while maintaining versatility for various test procedures.

• Perform R&D testing on medical products such as leads and catheters.

Skills:

• Experience with mechanical and electrical test equipment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and file management.

• Ability to operate complex equipment and interpret testing directions.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent work experience in a related field (e.g., assembler, operator, test technician).

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

• Candidates with a 4-year degree (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineering) will not be considered.
