University of St. Thomas Part-Time Food Service Worker in St. Paul, Minnesota

The current schedule we have open for these part-time opportunities are:
- Food Service/Prep- Monday- Sunday (Flexible with days), 11:00AM - 2:00PM (4 hour shift, up to 20 hours a week)
You will have the opportunity to learn on the job aspects of dining and large-scale food service operations and you will enjoy interacting daily with our students. In the role you will do a variety of things, which could include:
Assist in food preparation of delicious, healthy meals
Interact with a variety of customers daily
Show your culinary flair by making made-to-order menu items
Ensure a clean working environment by adhering to industry health codes
Maintain operation of and clean dish machine, washing dishes, silverware, pots/pans, etc.
Provide guidance to student employees and MSS workers as needed.
Sweep, mop, and empty trash

QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of a criminal background check is a condition of employment for this position
Some experience with food preparation or commercial dish-washing is preferred but not required
This position works a flexible schedule based on business needs, and could include nights and weekends.
The position may be considered emergency essential, which means if campus closes due to an emergency or inclement weather, emergency essential employees still need to report and complete any regularly scheduled hours.
