TEKsystems OT Cyber Security Analyst in St Paul, Minnesota

Description

Our location in Abbott Park, IL or St Paul, MN currently has an opportunity for a OT Cybersecurity Analyst. The position has responsibility for running our client's Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program and Manufacturing / Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity globally. This role is responsible for leading the implementation and support of security capabilities and technologies across manufacturing sites throughout our client globally, including ongoing updates and enhancements to the strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintain, tune, and improve the Armis cybersecurity platform in areas related to Asset Management and Threat Detection.

• Assist in the design, deployment, & optimization of the Armis cybersecurity platform for our client's manufacturing sites globally.

• Work with large data sets to automate processes around Asset Management.

• Serve as a cybersecurity liaison between IT and manufacturing sites to enrich data within the Armis cybersecurity platform.

• Improve threat detection capabilities to alert on malicious activities and tune-out false positives.

• Design and improve integrations between the Armis cybersecurity platform and other cyber & network functions/tools within our client.

• Develop visualizations to track metrics across the Armis cybersecurity platform pertaining to platform health, asset data quality, and threat detections.

• Respond to tickets in the manufacturing cyber teams’ queue pertaining to asset reconciliation, integration health, and threat alert tuning.

• Prov/ide and/or influence effective Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) security solutions for a wide variety of new and existing equipment that is used to manufacture our client's products.

• Speak to the breadth of an entire security program landscape at an introductory level to our client's business and manufacturing personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent certifications.

• Minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience.

• Hands-on experience building, tuning, operating, & maintaining cybersecurity tools & capabilities.

• Possess expertise in cybersecurity domains of Asset Inventory, Asset Discovery, Asset Management & Threat Detection.

• Prior experience working with IT or OT tools with asset discovery features (SolarWinds, Dragos, Nozomi, Nagios, ClarOTy, Forescout, Armis)

• Hands-on experience collecting, analyzing, and processing large data sets.

• A deep understanding of IT protocols and network architecture to be able to troubleshoot and make informed designs pertaining to operations of the Armis cybersecurity platform.

• Familiarity with using scripting languages (Python) to interface with cybersecurity tools and automate processes.

• An understanding of the cybersecurity challenges, risks, and industry solutions that come with manufacturing environments.

• Strong interpersonal skills to enable working with and communicating cybersecurity concepts to manufacturing sites.

Preferred

• Experience with visualizing cybersecurity metrics and improvements (PowerBI)

• Familiarity with OT/ICS equipment, networks, regulations, and challenges that come with working in manufacturing environments.

• Understanding of OT/ICS protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, CIP)

• Direct experience working with OT cybersecurity solutions in industrial environments.

• Functional knowledge and/or experience in systems within medical device, pharmaceuticals, or other healthcare regulated sectors.

• Showing initiative in innovative approaches to challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment.

• Building consensus and impacting outcome with authority and ability to negotiate trade-off decisions across the organization.

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills to partner effectively at all levels and across multiple groups.

• Managing risk, including escalation, prioritization, and resolution of systems and support issues, and developing and managing responses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00
