Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work with managers, engineers, and technicians to identify and resolve gaps between the current software capabilities and the requirements of standards as well as clients.

Independently complete software projects.

Independently maintain and upgrade existing software.

Work with internal clients to customize software to meet their testing requirements.

Handle multiple projects at once and prioritize independently.

Train others in the usage of software programs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR

Advanced degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus.

3 years of experience in LabVIEW.

Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar.

Experience in VB and/or VBA.

Experience working in the aerospace and/or defense industry.

Experience working in a lab environment.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on LabVIEW and hardware/software integration. Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry and a lab environment is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach are essential. Strong written and oral communication skills are also required. The candidate should have a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM field, with a preference for degrees in electrical engineering or software engineering. Experience in VB and/or VBA is a plus. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience if they have an advanced degree, or 5 years of relevant experience if they have a bachelor’s degree.
