Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Contract Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an IT Contracts Administrator! This position will direct, manage, and coordinate all phases of IT related contracts, including software purchases, licensing agreements, user agreements, and subscriptions, as well as non-IT professional/technical services contracts. This position will provide technical assistance, training, monitoring, and general consultation to all divisional staff related to the IT and non-IT contract processes.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, management, and coordination of all phases of contracting processes in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations, and mandates for DCT.

  • Develop, coordinate, and manage request for proposal processes; draft and execute contracts and amendments.

  • Collaborate on targeted activities, projects, and outcomes with other DCT Administration staff, staff from other DHS divisions and other state agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of contract management, preparation, or compliance experience, which must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience working with various types of contracts, preferably IT, which may include external access agreements, end-user license agreements, subscription agreements, and software as a service contract.

  • Experience processing contracts and managing the contract development process from inception to completion.

Note: A bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, compliance, business, or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience OR master’s degree in public policy, finance, business, or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience OR Juris Doctor from accredited law school may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing insight, guidance, technical assistance, and training related to contract administration.

  • Knowledge of government contracts including drafting and monitoring.

  • Ability to pull, analyze, and compile various reports.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
