The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the St. Paul, MN location, supporting our Structural Heart medical device division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. In this role, you will be responsible for the consolidation and reporting of results on a monthly basis, as well as for budget cycles, and for any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and variances being produced to be able to speak knowledgably when answering questions from leadership. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, participate in ad hoc projects or assignments, and will support internal and external audits by preparing and providing relevant reports and analysis.

What You’ll Work On

  • Budgeting and forecasting, preparing financial models, gross margin, capital, exchange, and other facets of the operations P&L.

  • Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management

  • Provides routine reports to leadership

  • Partners with supply chain to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the inventory financial close cycle

  • Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team

  • Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis

  • Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and business customers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

  • 4+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and/or financial modeling from a manufacturing environment

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated experience working with financial system applications

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualificatons

  • Advanced level degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

  • Medical device experience

  • Previous experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment

  • Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Dodeca, and/or SAP

The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 – $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
