Job Title: Controls Technician

Pay: $38-$40 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing all equipment throughout the facility. This role requires expertise in working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems up to 480V, with a strong preference for candidates with electrical experience. The position involves a significant amount of work with automated packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Controls Technician is to work as a key maintenance team contributor to support company objectives with respect to keeping the plant equipment in excellent working condition

  • Responsibilities include reducing setup, repair, install, maintain machinery and process equipment including electrical, special projects, component failures, measuring and calibrating equipment, performing preventative maintenance duties and providing corrective technical support for equipment

  • The role requires strong electrical and PLC troubleshooting aptitude

  • The Controls Technician will be actively involved in the support of Safety

  • Quality and Good Manufacturing Practices and Preventive Maintenance programs

  • Troubleshooting PLC/Control Systems, VFD and controls

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00
