Job Summary: The Church Partnerships Specialist will focus on the maintenance and growth of faith-based community partnerships through management of engagement outreach, events, and volunteer opportunities. This position will be responsible for the management, development, and implementation of existing and new communication strategies and tools with our faith-based community partners. This position will support the Director of Church Partnerships and Volunteerism in stewardship and relationship management with faith-based community partners. This position will provide coordination and project management for this engagement and relationship management, including with our faith-based leader volunteers. Occasionally, this position will facilitate events and presentations with faith-based community partners and others and represent LSSMN at community events. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years of related experience, which can include lived experience that is applicable to the job and performance. Experience with marketing and communications, project management, volunteer management, and administration preferred. Knowledge of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and its full communion, ecumenical, and interfaith partners. Ability to facilitate events and group activities and to tailor such events according to the makeup of the group. Ability to use email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn Trello and Raiser's Edge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking. Valid driver's license.
