Description
Responsibilities:
Converse with clients to learn about their legal needs and discussing potential legal strategies.
Manage all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
Represent clients in court hearings and trials, arbitration, and mediation hearings.
Handle case management duties including preparing case summaries, managing deadlines, and maintaining case files.
Draft, revise, and finalize a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and legal memorandums.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in order to resolve disputes favorably.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Keep clients informed on case progress and legal issues affecting their cases.
Comply with all legal standards and regulations, particularly ensuring client confidentiality.
Requirements

Qualifications:
J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
Current license to practice law in the relevant state.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in litigation, with a strong track record in handling a variety of civil litigation matters.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in legal research software and management tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively presenting information in court and to clients.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Adept at working effectively within a team and independently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
