Ecolab Inc Associate Regulatory Specialist I in St. Paul, Minnesota
Join Ecolab as an Associate Regulatory Specialist. This position is primarily responsible for providing Hazard Communication support to Ecolab business units which includes, but is not limited to, authoring safety data sheets (SDS), conducting chemical and raw material level hazard characterizations, and performing maintenance and enhancement activities related to the SDS authoring software systems. What You Will Do: Maintain product registration renewals, including management of registration databases. Compilation and submission of label/formula notification/amendments. Becoming familiar with regulations applicable to specific areas of responsibility, which may include federal agency exposure. Registration file management, both electronic and paper. Completing assignments as directed and handle minor compliance issues while escalating issues as needed. Support our global and North American chemical product portfolio by executing non-governmental registrations such as NSF Nonfood, NSF Standard 60, Kosher and Halal. Enable proactive value partnership with Operational Innovation and procurement to enable cost savings. Enable rapid approval of alternate suppliers of raw materials. Support North American chemical product Letter of Guaranty program by reviewing products for eligibility and authoring letters to meet customer requests. Strengthen chemical emergency response provider relationship to enable efficient response to requests for treatment and to enable required agency incident reporting. Additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Preferred Qualifications: Ability to learn business and regulatory processes Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents Good data management skills, including attention to detail EPIC and SAP system experience Familiarity with regulatory programs such as EPA, FDA, OSHA, DOT, DIN, CFIA and other Federal/State regulations Knowledge of general label composition requirements for any regulated products Product registration or certification experience Ability to drive others to get things done Detail oriented Self Starter Technical writing experience Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.Click here to see our benefits.
