This position is hybrid; the incumbent will work in the office 2-3 days/week and remotely 2-3 days/week. Starting wage is approximately $23/hour, depending on education/experience. Preferably looking to fill position in Duluth, but also willing to hire in the Brainerd, Willmar, Mankato, Rochester, Eustis, CFCL-Mpls areas. Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide consultation, business analysis, as well as maintenance of debt management accounting and coordination of the day-to-day accounting activities of Debt Management Plan deposits, electronic payment service (ACH), and disbursements. This position has critical responsibility in ensuring that the Financial Counseling trust account remains balanced. Qualifications and Requirements: Accounting Associate's degree minimum with at least two years of related work experience, Accounting Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Must be a team player and able to collaborate with others to ensure quality service delivery. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn and use multiple software and banking programs. A minimum of one year of customer service experience required or equivalent education/training.
