Center For Diagnostic Imaging Denials Management Supervisor in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

As a Denials Management Supervisor, you will analyze, track, measure, prevent and manage denials working collaboratively across all areas of revenue cycle management. This is a full-time, remote position, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (65%) Denial Prevention and Management Monitors reports and workloads ensuring that denials are addressed timely Works with Accounts Receivable Manager, to develop and monitor goals for the denials team Provides guidance and oversight to denials team to ensure the steady reduction of preventable denials contributing to the reductions of days sales outstanding (DSO) Ensures team is contributing to the decrease of preventable denials decreasing the percentage of collections on accounts with DSO over 90 days Contributes to the steady reduction of denials by addressing complex denials timely, as well as identifying root causes and process improvements to prevent future denials Acts as a liaison to various departments to streamline processes Assesses processes, identifies gaps and implements efficient work flows Prioritizes work load concentrating on "priority" work which will enhance bottom line results and achievement of the most important objectives In conjunction with Accounts Receivable Manager, maintains a collaborative relationship across all RCM departments Analyzes trends in denials and coordinates with the other RCM leaders on managing and resolving issues In conjunction with other RCM leaders, measures and reports on denial trends In conjunction with other RCM leaders, works to develop best practices Identifies root causes and develops processes to resolve root causes Performs audits to identify opportunities and trends. Audits to include, but not limited to Remittance Advices, write off adjustments, coding accuracy, charge master accuracy and registration and insurance verification quality (30%) Staff Management Oversees and monitors workflow of Denials team Manages overall staffing levels for adequate coverage at all times Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations, compensation and development of associates including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination of associates Participates in the hiring and training of new associates Leads staff meetings and employee one-on-ones as needed (5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned Associate's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years' of medical business office supervisory experience, preferably in medical collections Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred Graduate of a medical billing program Medical coding experience and/ or certification RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
