Responsibilities
Accountable for supply chain performance in the Americas through monitoring and steering of key performance metrics like inventory, OTIF, OTCC, Distribution costs.
Support to regional supply chain leadership to develop inventory strategy for the Region
Facilitation of inventory management actions in alignment with regional Planning Teams
Leadership and execution of Advanced Materials Interlayers Key Initiatives in the Americas according to global project plan (Project Unite / digitalization roadmap with OPR design and roll-out, segmentation, Offer Development/ Offer Execution, Network Optimization and other continuous improvement projects, etc.)
Support Regional packaging initiatives (Returnable and shipping, including Labels in line with market standards)
Support Network Optimization initiatives in the region.
Support to Regional Planning Teams
Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze, summarize and present facts and findings to multiple audiences
Knowledge of SAP environment and demonstrated experience with a supply planning application (APO, SAP IBP, OMP, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work comfortably in a matrix organization and in an international, global, and diverse setting
Independent working style
Education and background
Master degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research
At least 5-8 years of experience in the field of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Manufacturing
Experience with SAP, OMP, advanced Excel and Power BI skills
Lean Six Sigma and/or APICS certification preferred
