Evernorth Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Senior Advisor to join the team to drive and enable business outcomes through the development and execution of our people priorities and initiatives.
The HR Business Partner is accountable for driving HR solutions to complex client groups, implementing HR strategies that support enterprise initiatives, achieve business results and enable sustainable growth.
In partnership with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence this role facilitates the implementation of strategic program recommendations, prioritization and deployment in talent management, employee development, compensation, performance management, organizational transformation, change management and workforce effectiveness for the assigned client group and represents the voice of the business within HR and the voice of HR for the business.
This role requires the HRBP to be a strategic partner for the business, executing on many facets of talent strategy, demonstrating the ability to solve problems, coach leaders through difficult situations and change, while tracking and monitoring changes and progress in the organization, with moderate support from leader.
This role sits on the senior leadership team providing strategic HR support. The HRBP will take a leadership role for developing and executing against the talent strategy implications of the overarching business strategy. In addition, ongoing optimization around operating model, org design, and talent strategy will be required to achieve an aggressive growth trajectory.
Responsibilities:
• Lead development and implementation of human capital requirements to successfully execute client business strategies including but not limited to an aggressive talent strategy that drives business growth, leadership development, succession planning, employee development and engagement, and diversity broadly.
• Leads significant organization design and change management efforts to enable business growth and organizational evolution.
• Provide strategic HR consulting and problem-solving solutions on the most complex issues to senior leaders.
• Support the leadership team through deployment of robust change management strategies and communication plans as the organizations grow and evolve.
• Apply deep business acumen and the executional know-how to build and grow businesses.
• Deliver solutions on how to improve processes, team dynamics, etc. to optimize organizational effectiveness.
• Champion the enterprise people and other talent strategies through strong strategic partnership with the HR Centers of Expertise.
• Strengthen the senior leadership team of each function by providing coaching and counsel to executives to further develop their leadership capability and capacity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, HR, or related field
• 10+ years of overall HR experience in roles of progressively increasing in scope and responsibility. Experience spanning both corporate (COE) and HRBP functions preferred.
• A driver of change with strong organizational development and effectiveness experience.
• High degree of executive influence, courage and relationship building skills essential.
• Able to thrive and navigate within a fast-pace and at times ambiguous environment.
• Significant and demonstrated ability to strategically align progressive talent strategies to business goals and objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly complex / matrixed business and HR model.
• Large capacity for managing multiple, complex initiatives; exceptional work ethic. Proven track record of driving large scale, transformative change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical Capabilities: Ability to draw accurate conclusions from data and determine appropriate interventions to address business challenges
• Business Acumen: Experience in developing a strong and deep understanding of the business groups' main goals and challenges as well as the broader business strategy and key financial levers impacting enterprise earnings results.
• Leadership/Coaching: Strong proven leadership skills and experience in positioning executives to make thoughtful decisions about their organization's mission and goals, and properly allocate people resources to achieve those directives
• 10%+ Travel depending on home location
