Enclos is searching for a Sr. Systems Administrator to join our IT team in St. Louis, MO!

Enclos is a well-established, privately held facade contractor with expertise in the design, engineering, fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom and iconic facade systems, providing complete design-build services to the construction marketplace. Enclos specializes in innovative architecture and challenging building projects and collaborates with the world's most recognized and respected architecture, engineering and construction firms. Our firm's engineers specialize in tall building, seismic, high security, unitized curtainwall, and specialty facade systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Manages Enclos Corp's network and computer infrastructure by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to solve network and hardware issues that arise within the environment.

  • Assists other IT team members in solving non-routine software, hardware and procedure problems.

  • Ensures help desk support is available to all Enclos employees during the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm.

  • Works with Enclos field personnel to open and close office and job sites. This includes ordering required data lines, phone lines, hardware and copier/printers and their installation.

  • Works with the VP of IT to plan future improvements to the company's infrastructure.

  • Develops a plan each fiscal year for cycling out old hardware and ensures the plan is implemented.

  • Oversees the routine maintenance and upgrades of the Enclos virtual infrastructure.

  • Ensures that the IT department maintains accurate employee inventory records for both hardware and software.

  • Schedules installation of hardware and software relating to various components of the Enclos IT infrastructure.

  • Responsible for backing up Enclos' critical data information.

  • Responsible for maintaining and documenting Enclos' Disaster Recovery procedure.

  • Trains System Administrators I and II so that they can perform their respective job responsibilities.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Two-year vocational/technical certificate in computer studies and 7 years of experience working in a System Administrator role. Equivalent of computer support experience may substitute for certificate.

  • Knowledgeable in computer repair and configuration.

  • Possesses a thorough understanding of Windows, computer components, memory management; configuration and TCP/IP network connectivity.
