Emerson Sales Analyst in St. Louis, Missouri
As a Sales Analyst, you will be accountable for providing data analytics to senior sales leadership and ensuring sales and financial-related data integrity. Additionally, you will prepare timely consolidation of sales and forecasting analytics, supporting weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, recommending revisions to existing reports and assisting in the development of new reporting. Your support and expertise will play an important role in driving data-driven decision-making and improving sales effectiveness to drive market share!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
The core job of this position is to support the North America Sales and Finance team in gathering and organizing data based on sales territories, business units, etc.
Distribute month reporting to sales teams and leadership teams.
Participate in the development of key Business Intelligence and Data Analytics systems, including KPI’s and metrics.
Understand, improve, and handle Sales Compensation processes. Including working cross functionally on goal creation, distribution and management, quota credit and quota distribution.
Using available data to complete the POR files for review with the AVPs and President for the Americas.
Prepare supporting documentation for the Financial Bookings and POR including but not limited to the Top Bookings Report and the Top Funnel report.
Advance skills in fact verification, and data analysis.
Identifies, assesses, and plans to incorporate data from available sources to improve record completeness and accuracy.
Conduct independent research and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Take the lead on special metrics reporting including but not limited to product reporting, Kind of Business reporting and Industry reporting.
Optimally communicate with local teams and Business Leaders.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a business field
Minimum of 3 years of data analysis or other related work experience
10% travel may be required
Legal authorization to work in the United States
