Job Summary
This position is responsible for conducting accurate inventories for physical property and excess property along with determining ownership of equipment. Provide effective customer service and achieve customer satisfaction by delivering services in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Primary Duties

Conduct annual inventories, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of accurate, automated, and complete records for all contract real and personal property. Ensure newly acquired property is promptly bar coded and entered into the Agency's Total Asset Management System.
Determine ownership of all property; coordinating on out-going employees' clearance sheets; and maintaining an automated record accountability system for each manual record to include scanning required files.
Maintain inventories of property and materials necessary to meet contract requirements.
Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes as well as doing inventory and retrieving sanitized property for excess property program.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide backup for mailroom, warehouse, and security department as needed.
Potential to work nights and weekends.
Ensure property is properly organized in warehouse.
Conduct property inventory of off-site locations as needed.
Perform related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)
High school diploma or state certified equivalent required.
Two years of direct experience required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Requires personal computer (PC) knowledge leading to proficiency in various software and/or spreadsheet operations. Must be familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
Ability to operate pallet jack.
