What emerging digital technology will you add to the mix?

As The Petivity App Business Owner, you’ll play a key role on our team as you define the business strategy for the mobile app, prioritizing tough business problems while balancing user experience and tradeoffs, to realize Petivity’s mission of reimaging pet care. Working cross functionally with multiple business and key stakeholder teams (dog and cat device owners, hardware, mobile app, artificial intelligence) and portfolio leads, the Petivity mobile app business owner ensures the app provides business value for Nestlé Purina Petcare and holistic value for our dog and cat owning household’s using Petivity’s products and services.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that encompasses market positioning, growth objectives, and user acquisition plans with a clear overarching vision

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with the strategy and key initiatives, and work with Analytics on project impact and forecast

  • Design, test, and implement effective monetization strategies for the app, including in-app purchases, subscription models, and partnerships

  • Lead prioritization of app use cases across all relevant Petivity & Purina Business Owners (Cat Portfolio, Dog Portfolio, D2C, Loyalty, Ecosystem, External Partnerships)

  • Define and prioritize use cases that drive new functionality or improved UX

  • Lead the development of the annual business plan for Petivity mobile app in partnership with internal business groups

  • Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs to measure the success of the business across various aspects such as user engagement, revenue generation, and market penetration

  • Prioritize business opportunities for all Petivity products and services with potential impact and translate those into app features

  • Partner with marketing to ensure clear and effective Petivity app feature communication, while maintaining strong brand identity and consistent mission for Petivity

  • Share Petivity mobile app business strategy with key stakeholders for visibility and ongoing Purina ecosystem integration opportunities

  • Partner with Personalization Group to design, deliver, and iterate personalized consumer journeys within the app including but not limited to push notifications, in-app notifications, customized content cards, and surveys

  • Partner with Generating Demand Group to ensure the app is driving the core business and aiding the brands in achieving their objectives

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field

  • 7+ years of professional experience with 3+ of those years in mobile app business industries

The approximate pay range for this position is $106,000 to $151,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
