Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the packaging department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location: St. Louis, MO

Pay Range: $24-$25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate machines and automation to run lines

• Perform hand weighing operations and set up and run drum massager, delumper, filling machine, capper, automated labeler, and other ergonomic equipment

• Knowledge of product flow throughout the packaging process

• Effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of staff both orally and written

• Work in a group setting and demonstrate attention to detail

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Desirable: High school course work in chemistry or 6 months chemistry related work experience

• 2-4 years packaging experience preferred but not required

• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and perform hand weighing operations

• Demonstrated problem-solving and team building skills with the ability to work with a diverse group of people
