Adecco US, Inc. Medical Assistant in St. Louis, Missouri
Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Medical Assistant to join our client's team in St. Louis, MO - 63113. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.
Pay
$20-$23 per hour
Education and Experience
Required:
At least 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant.
Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
BLS for Healthcare Providers.
6+ months' phlebotomy experience.
Preferred:
EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
Experience working with geriatric patients.
Required Skills/Abilities
Have a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethic.
Be a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively.
Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and market leadership.
Have strong communication that is customer-oriented.
Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.
Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.
Ability to travel on occasion for meetings.
