Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Medical Assistant to join our client's team in St. Louis, MO - 63113. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position.

Pay

$20-$23 per hour

Education and Experience

Required:

• At least 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant.

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training (i.e. foreign-trained physician, paramedic, etc.).

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).

• BLS for Healthcare Providers.

• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience.

Preferred:

• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.

• Experience working with geriatric patients.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Have a high degree of emotional intelligence and integrity, driven and focused work ethic.

• Be a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and work effectively.

• Ability to work effectively with various seniorities and diverse populations including staff, providers, members, family members, insurance carriers, vendors, and market leadership.

• Have strong communication that is customer-oriented.

• Excellent critical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations, determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues and resolve recurring defects.

• Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software packages.

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and presentation software.

• Ability to travel on occasion for meetings.
