Those in cloud operations at PwC will focus on managing and optimising cloud infrastructure and services to enable seamless operations and high availability for clients. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry leading practices for cloud-based systems.

The Opportunity
As part of the Infrastructure - Cloud Operations team you are responsible for the development and execution of cloud and technical resilience strategies. As a Senior Manager, you guide large-scale projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You utilize your knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and resilience technologies to deliver quality results, inspire and coach teams to solve complex problems, and develop diverse and inclusive teams.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation and implementation of cloud and resilience strategies
Guide large-scale initiatives and improve processes for peak performance
Maintain excellence in operations while engaging with clients at a senior level
Utilize knowledge in IT infrastructure and cloud platforms to achieve quality outcomes
Inspire and mentor teams to address complex challenges
Cultivate top-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams
Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement
Uphold the firm’s standards and ethical guidelines
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree
7 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
Certification(s) from a leading cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), focus on security and resilience preferred
Certification(s) from a leading on-premises infrastructure provider (VMware, Microsoft, RedHat, NetApp, EMC, Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Arista, Palo Alto, F5, etc.) preferred
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL Certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
Excelling in communication and interpersonal skills
Participating in transformation initiatives for large organizations
Proficiency in IT infrastructure and cloud platforms
Advanced knowledge of DR and BC planning
Advanced experience with enterprise networking technologies
Documenting and explaining network and infrastructure topologies
Familiarity with the latest technology trends in networking
Overseeing prominent client engagements

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
