job summary:

Prepare raw materials for production processes by picking and ensuring their readiness. Verify production runs according to schedule by inspecting labels, packaging, and other specifications. Perform packaging tasks including folding and sealing cardboard boxes, labeling bagged products, and stacking boxes onto pallets. Maintain accurate and neat paperwork, including documentation of finished goods, metal detector checks, and scale verification. Handle objects weighing up to 50+ lbs on a regular basis. Collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments and contribute to a cohesive team environment. Utilize basic hand tools as required for production tasks. Perform miscellaneous duties such as cleaning, garbage removal, and sample taking. Conduct thorough wash-downs of production rooms using ECOLAB chemicals, scrub brushes, and strahman hoses, including disassembly and assembly of production equipment. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by IRCA. Other duties as assigned.

work hours: 10:30PM to 6:45AM

dress code:

Closed toed shoes are required. They will provide safety shoes for you. Neat clean shirt without writing or logos preferred. Wear casual warehouse appropriate attire (jeans, t-shirt, etc.). Pants and shirts must not have any holes in them. Employees will not be allowed to work if the condition or style of clothing being worn is considered to pose an unnecessary safety risk (i.e., too loose, torn, not worn properly, or dragging) or is offensive in nature. Longer than shoulder length hair must pulled back/up. No weaves or wigs allowed. NO jewelry or piercings allowed from the waist up due to it being a food facility. NO acrylic nails, nail polish, and fake lashes allowed. NO watches are allowed (other than medic alert or plain wedding band). NO gum chewing or any type of hard candy allowed in production. NO cell phones are allowed on the production floor.
