Seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift, rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 7:00PM to 7:00AM. Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend. Skills and knowledge required -

• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels;

• Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations;

• Accurately using measurement and test equipment;

• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed;

• Maintain clean and organized work area, and cleaning up work area as part of completing assigned tasks;

• Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork;

• Trouble-shooting and solving problems;

• Requires good electrical and mechanical skills and aptitude;

• Good troubleshooting skills;

• Written and verbal communications skills;

• Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics;

This is a 2nd shift position - 7:00PM to 7:00AM with potential overtime. These are 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 3 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
