Summary of Responsibilities:

The St. Louis Cardinals is currently seeking candidates for its Supervisor of Authentics. This position oversees the Cardinals Authentics, a retail store specializing in selling official, game-used, limited edition, and autographed collectibles and memorabilia including in-store, online, and auction sales year-round. This position supports Cardinals Authentics staff in customer relations, merchandise transactions, and storefront maintenance.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Greet customers and assist them with their needs at the venue by answering questions and providing a safe, secure environment for the guests to enjoy
  • Work with and manage sales staff; ensure the highest level of customer service, and relieve staff for breaks. Request extra staff when needed through the supervisor.
  • Monitor merchandise to protect against damage or theft
  • Tag and/or receive merchandise, perform daily cycle counts, restock store daily or as needed by requesting required items from the main warehouse
  • Process transactions through the POS system
  • Assist in monthly inventory including merchandise bags
  • Collect game-used bases and baseballs from Clubhouse
  • Ensure supply forms for shipping, laser bat engravings, etc. are stocked
  • Oversee storefront by opening and closing per shop hours
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and cleaning supplies per guidelines to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable venue to enhance customers' experience
  • Maintain communication with Cardinals Nation Security and lead supervisor (via radio) if concerns arise

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to thrive as a collaborative and supportive team member
