These are *non-Career corrections officer *positions, as non-Career they are not entitled to benefits, and do not accrue leave credits. The intent of these positions are to supplement full time staff and will be utilized as intermittently as needed. Employees in this job oversee and participate in the custody, security, and treatment of prisoners in correctional facilities.
ELIGIBILITY:
Retired from the State of Michigan prior to January 1, 2022.
Retired as a certified Corrections Officer.
Must have worked as a certified Corrections Officer within 3 years of rehire date.
