BayCare Health System Licensed Counselor - Pediatric Chronic Complex Clinic - Part Time in St Josephs, United States

Summary:

The Licensed Counselor is a member of a collaborative practice model that includes patients, nurses, clinical resource coordinators, physicians, and other practitioners, caregivers, and the community. Knowledgeable about disease, treatment, social and economic implications for individuals and families as it pertains to their age, stage of psychosocial development and discharge needs. Pragmatic in approaching End of Life and ethical issues. Required Education includes Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Community Counseling. Required Experience includes 6 month Internship in an acute care setting or 1 year social services in an acute health care setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Required - 6 month Internship in an acute care setting or 1 year social services in an acute health care setting

Education:

  • Required - Masters - Social Work; Or - Masters - Mental Health; Or - Masters - Counseling

Credentials:

  • Required - LCSW (Social Work); Or - LMHC (Mental Health). Select departments may also accept LMFT (Marriage and Family) as equal qualification.

Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
