College of St Benedict Campus Visit Coordinator in St. Joseph, Minnesota

The Admission Office at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University invite applications for a full-time (.92 FTE), benefit eligible position of Campus Visit Coordinator. The Campus Visit Coordinator serves as the first contact for prospective students. The duties include answering the phone, greeting visitors, and coordinating details for individual student visits, ensuring all details are executed correctly while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions. The person in this position will work collaboratively with Admission staff, faculty, and coaches to create a positive, seamless, and memorable experience for campus visitors. Additionally, well developed supervisory skills are critical for the management of a large group of student employees, who provide tours of the campus for prospective students, their families, and other key gatekeepers. For further information regarding CSB and SJU, see http://www.csbsju.edu/about. Responsibilities Campus Visit Welcome approx. 1,000 prospective students and their families to campus annually. Create a campus visit schedule for prospective students to include appointments with faculty, coaches and/or staff in areas of interest, attend a class, tour of campuses, meeting with admission counselor. Communicate with prospective students as they schedule their visit via email or phone. Ensure all visiting families have a confirmation and agenda before arrival on campus. Supervise Student Employees Interview, hire and train prospective Admission Ambassadors (tour guides) for their work with prospective families (tours, follow-up communication, managing the front desk, and special projects). Manage student worker shift scheduling year round. Monitor and approve student employee timesheets/payroll. Conduct annual performance evaluations. Plan Fall orientation training event and end of the year party. Office Maintenance Maintain a pleasant and welcoming environment in the reception area. Utilize online computer calendaring system for visitors and admission staff. Update prospective student information in software database (Slate). Manage inventory of visitor supplies. e.g. brochures, t-shirts, bags, bread. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admission Services.
