The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and procurement operations to include onsite performance and contractual performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution, to ensure that products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner supporting rapid response programs.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards and timely deliveries.

Logistics Management:

  • Oversee the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers.

  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure the stock is appropriately maintained across warehouses.

  • Implement inventory management systems to track product flow and reduce stockouts or excess inventory.

Cost Optimization:

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain process.

  • Monitor the supply chain for inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

  • Review MPLs and MELS to determine cost saving potentials for customers.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the supply chain team to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Coordinate across various departments (procurement, production, distribution) to ensure smooth operations.

  • Develop and train functional areas on Supply Chain AS9100 processes and procedures.

  • Provide senior level Briefing to director to include PMRs.

  • Manage team of 15+ individuals.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

  • Utilize software tools and systems for real-time data tracking, performance analytics, and reporting.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and adapt to changes in the market, regulations, and business environment that could impact the supply chain.

Compliance & Sustainability:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Promote sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, and government standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in supply chain management or logistics, including leadership roles.

  • Experience in managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
