This role involves planning and executing administrative projects, as well as coordinating departmental functions for the St. Cloud campus programs. The Manager will collaborate closely with local teams to support student activities, classroom management, simulation, and technology integration. Additionally, this position includes the supervision and training of the assigned operational team. Duties/Responsibilities 40%: Curriculum management Recruit and manage faculty for small group teaching roles, including problem-based learning (PBL) and clinical skills sessions. Manage clinical skills, experience, and simulation supplies, including inventory, equipment care, ordering, and maintenance scheduling. Oversee and manage clinical experience sessions, such as ultrasound and physical exam skills, including actor/practice patient recruitment, room setup, supply needs, and technology support. Maintain a relationship with M Simulation for regional campus simulation experiences, handling scheduling, room setup, and supply requirements. Effectively manage all aspects of curriculum coordination, collaborating with departments such as IT, Admissions, Financial Aid, Finance, and Student Affairs. Foster strong partnerships and collaborate with Medical School support staff across the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses to ensure smooth curriculum operations. 40%: Operations Management Develop and maintain efficient operational processes and procedures for the CentraCare St. Cloud regional campus, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across all departments, including student services, curricular implementation, clinical rotations, and faculty coordination. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations. Manage the financial and contractual aspects of campus operations, including ordering supplies for clinical experiences, anatomy labs, classrooms, and general office use. Oversee room scheduling and reservations for the regional campus. Handle student accommodation requests and maintain records in coordination with the Office of Disability Services. Serve as the Canvas Administrative Manager, conducting monthly audits and generating reports to ensure compliance with responsibilities. Oversee scheduling for student and campus events, including required activities such as Basic Life Support (BLS) training, mask fitting, and Environmental Health and Safety training, as well as student events like interest groups, residency program visits, information sessions, and other annual student activities. Act as the backup administrator for AAMC and NBME systems. Oversee MEDIS and Clinician Nexus operations and provide staff support. Monitor and update curriculum and operational content on the medical school website to ensure it reflects CentraCare St. Cloud campus-specific information. 10%: Service and curriculum outreach Maintain community engagement and outreach, including recruiting and managing a pool of adjunct clinical faculty. Foster positive relationships with local clinical partners, undergraduate science departments, and healthcare providers to enhance learning experiences. Recruit and oversee a pool of actors/practice patients for simulated experiences at the regional campus. 10%: Supervisory responsibilities Oversee and manage staffing for the St Cloud campus through direct hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating campus staff Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials Required Qualifications Ba helor's degree in related field with two years of experience in medical education, academic affairs, curriculum, or related field; or a combination of education and work experience to equal six years Preferred Qualifications A master's degree in leadership, curriculum, instructional design or related field Experience with Google Suite Applications (Calendar, Drive, Email, etc.) Ability to determine, organize and prioritize the offices' clerical activities and coordinate them with other administrative/servicing units. Familiarity with database, spreadsheet, and word processing software Knowledge of foundational biological and medical sciences and education Management and supervisory experience Additional Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize quality, timeliness, and precision in work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively both within and outside the work group.
