St Cloud School District 742 Program Coordinator in St. Cloud, Minnesota
TYPE OF POSITION: M-F, 40.0 hrs/wk, specific hours to be determined Year round position Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Adult Basic Education SUPERVISION: None QUALIFICATIONS: Required Bachelor's Degree Strong communication and human relations skills Ability to supervise and work well with others Demonstrated ability to initiate classes and programs, problem solve, work with and gain input from community groups Effective management and organizational skills as well as interviewing, negotiating and processing skills Preferred Bilingual POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to research, develop, plan, staff, coordinate and evaluate a broad range of educational enrichment classes and programs for all ages. SALARY: $24.62/hr-$31.60/hr (dependent on qualifications and experience) APPLICATION PROCESS: Online application, www.isd742.org; attach documentation supporting required degree ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assess community needs and develop, implement and monitor programs accordingly Recruit volunteers Secure and maintain confidential client/participant and staff records Develop community/school partnerships as resources for personnel district wide Work with district facilities specialist for reserving space for classes Write grant proposals in partnership with Supervisor for consideration (as applicable) Determine, purchase, and maintain supplies and/or equipment for programming Compile and record statistical data for reports Attend professional development to enhance skills and program quality Develop yearly program/promotion goals with Executive Director and Supervisor Coordinate additional projects as requested by Supervisor Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL FACTORS: Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing All Employees of Saint Cloud School District 742 are responsible to support District goals, to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse populations of staff, students and parents and to model and promote a welcoming working and learning environment.
