We are seeking several skilled and motivated carpenters to join our team and contribute to our continued success and growth.  We are also willing to train a candidate to invest in your future as a skilled trade carpenter.

Job Description:

As a Carpenter at Frazer, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction & Installation: Custom homes, remodels, decks, roofing and siding
  • Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure and cut wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures and installations, including fixing broken components and replacing worn materials.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment by following safety regulations and practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met and timelines are adhered to.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction or installation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter, with a solid portfolio of completed projects.

``` - Skills: Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and chisels. - Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry. - Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. - Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and precision in workmanship. - Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. - Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or trade school training is a plus.
