ManTech Office Manager / Staff Officer - Lead in Springfield, Virginia

Currently ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Office Manager/Staff Officer to join our team in Springfield, Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect data, conduct analysis, make recommendations for change, and implement changes as directed by the Director, Mission Management, SAMM or GMM.

  • Provide expertise to maintain and manage schedules; develop travel plans and event coordination in support of the 11 GMM’s, to enable the efficient and effective integration of mission across the IC enterprise.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements based on knowledge of the customer’s processes and procedures that will enhance ability of the GMM and Mission Management staff activities.

  • Collect, organize, and prepare data for briefings and read-aheads to ensure Mission Management, SAMM or GMM can conduct mission integration activities.

  • Enables Mission Management, SAMM & GMMs to adhere to the Code of Corporate Excellence.

  • Proactively engage with Senior Executives and with external Senior Executives and leaders from other organizations to include DoD and the Intelligence Community.

  • Develop and deliver pertinent information to Mission Management and NOC Government POCs by extracting and organizing information for briefings, read- ahead and other materials and/or recording and publishing Meeting Minutes with particular attention to detail and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience AND Master’s Degree in a related field; OR 19 years of related experience in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to integrate, prioritize, and satisfy tasks and requirements within short timelines in a changing environment and where requirements are often ambiguous.

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with Senior Executives and subordinates, as well as internal and external customers and partners in person, by telephone, and through email correspondence. The candidate should be highly effective in written and oral communications.

  • Expert knowledge using the Defense Travel System.

  • Ability to identify and resolve meeting conflicts in a timely manner Travel plans and itineraries are planned based on GMM preferences and are generally free from grammar, spelling and formatting error and use standard styles and formats. Travel vouchers are completed according to IC and DoD standards for timeliness and accuracy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • NCERTS experience

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in analyzing job-related problems and recommending solutions requiring coordination across multiple areas, disciplines, and organizations.

  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in planning and implementing programs/projects involving diverse objectives.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copier, scanner, and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
