A leading steel manufacturer is seeking experienced industrial painters to join our production team. In this fast-paced industrial painting role, you'll be responsible for superior finishing and coatings application on steel products.
Industrial Painter Job Duties:
• Operate paint booths, spray equipment and hand-spray guns to apply high-quality industrial finishes • Prepare and clean surfaces for optimal paint/coating adhesion • Perform basic mechanical assembly and packaging duties during cross-training • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols • Meet daily production schedules while upholding high quality standards
Required Painter Skills:
• Proven experience as an industrial painter, ideally in steel manufacturing • High degree of skill in using industrial spray equipment and paint booths • Ability to read technical documents, specifications and safety instructions • Familiarity with different paints, finishes, thinners and hazardous materials • Strong attention to detail to achieve a flawless, consistent finished product • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects • High school diploma or equivalent required
